Our mythology series are standout, none quite so legendary as our Greek and Norse Mythology titles. When looking through these games, we couldn’t help but notice some cool similarities amongst the characters and also their differences.

There’s no denying that in both mythologies, things can get a little… tense, sometimes.
If it’s not Loki looking to overthrow Odin and take the throne of Asgard in Tales of Asgard: Loki’s Fortune, Zeus and his brothers Hades and Poseidon are plotting to take down the titans and their father Cronus in both Rise of Olympus and Rise of Gods: Reckoning (coming soon).
I think we can agree that both Norse and Greek god families have their ups and downs, kind of like us mere mortals.

Characters play a huge role in driving narrative, stirring emotions and creating a mirror that sometimes we can see a little of ourselves in. The same can be said for the characters that both of these mythologies give us.
The same can be said of the characters that appear in our games. If we held up a mirror, who would we see?
Both Zeus and Thor hardness thunder and lightning to destroy and harness power in Rise of Olympus and Tales of Asgard: Freya’s Wedding. Powerful in stance and nature, but as the King of Gods maybe be a better match for Zeus would be Odin: Protector of the Realms. Both portray a father-like figure to the other gods in their clans.
